Luxinnovation supports Luxembourg organisations wishing to further develop their capacities by hosting researchers in the framework of the Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship programme (MSCA PF) that is funded through the European Commission under Horizon Europe. Any highly skilled researchers who have recently completed their postgraduate studies (candidates should have obtained their PhD or presented their defence before September 2021) can apply until 15 May 2021.
MSCA postdoctoral fellowships
The MSCA PF are postdoctoral fellowships, financed through the European Commission for 2-year positions. The prestigious grants cover salary and research costs of the researchers, who can come from anywhere in the world. The projects are strongly focused on the career development of participating researchers, and often include secondments at relevant private partner organisations. The organisations in Luxembourg that want to host such talented researchers include large public research organisations as well as private companies, many of which offer interesting job perspectives after completion of the fellowship.
Application
We invite potential postdoc candidates to fill out the application form until 15 May 2021, mentioning the offer reference(s) they are interested in. Your CV will then be forwarded to the prospective host organisations, who will select the candidates that best suit their criteria and contact them before 15 June 2021. Selected candidates will be trained by us in grant writing (remotely and free of charge) and can start writing their proposal over the summer. The final submission deadline to the European Commission is 15 September 2021. The funding decisions will be communicated by February 2022, and projects can start around April 2022 or later.
